Duke Cannon Hot Shave Gel
This product is amazing! You can use this if you use a cartridge razor. However, if you use a safety razor (like I do), it is very effective as well. You get amazing protection for your face as the blades glide during the shave. This product does live up to its name. It’s intense, but does not burn. The purpose of the heat is to soften your beard, making the shave more effortless. The Aloe E adds protection in lieu of a pre-shave oil, so your blade performs smoothly. Great alternative to shave creams and butters. No need for a pre-shave oil either. I recommend using this with the Duke Cannon Ice Cold Aftershave Balm. Not so great.
I used to use another product from Gillette, but they discontinued it. When I found this, I was thrilled, but was soon disappointed when I used it. I like that it is clear, I like that it is thick, but instead of warmth, all I get was irritated skin. Then, when I rinsed it off, it stung. I never felt warmth, only stinging.
