The model was well packaged. No warpege to wings or frame. MK 82 bombs are included not the cluster bombs that a former Monogram A-4 kit had. The wheel wells are super detailed. The panel lines are not too outstanding. This made for easily re=scribing them . The canopy is housed in a separate package. I enjoyed the wing slats and air rakes.. When built they add more dynamic interest to this aircraft.
The bothersome part of this model was the engineering of the radome a top the fuselage. The wide seams encountered will need much attention to filling and sanding. Also where the radome is attached to the rising tail section, there is a size able gap.. The real version does not have this.
While the variety of undercarriage features add to the realism of this kit. the small space provided for their insertion can be a challenge. If you are looking for a 1/48 jet that is store able in size yet offers the not so dwarf like size of 1/72 jets, this kit is for your collection.
