Could be made more solid
After a few minor bumps the led stopped working. You have to jiggle it around detach, reattach to get it to work again. It is nice to look at but it does not serve any other purpose than that.

bumper stops work on bumper trains as well as gandy dancers. Red lights mounted on top ad a nice touch.

Beautiful and realistic
These bumpers do a great job of heralding the end of the line for trains. I like them better than the earthenware bumpers Lionel sells, in part because they afford more inches of clearance and they look more realistic
