Icon series of WW2.
The best TV or other series of all time about the 2nd World War. There are no better examples, in any way, and I watched them all many times. Divided into time periods or particular theaters of battle, they are all easy to follow. Suitable for many ages, this particular series has lots of additional material. WW1 has its equivalent, with the BBC's Great War and 1914-1918. Jack.

The definitive World War 2 collection
This is the definitive history of World War 2. No other collection comes close. Every category of the war is explored in depth and the narration by Sir Laurence Olivier is first class. The price is also a bargain for this classic series. If you want to know about World War 2 this is the only series to buy.

a must see.
this box set of the world at war is very interesting and informs the younger generation about the horror of living through a world war . also this set was excellent quality and arrived in good time plus well packed all the discs are working well and a really good price.

a brilliant piece of history
the best history of the second world war, its causes and effects, ever made. the superb narration by Laurence Olivier is truly brilliant and the production values are very good indeed. no wonder the series won so many awards

The World at war box set
The definitive box set on the second world war. Everyone young and old should watch this informative and at times brutal and upsetting images on mans inhumanity to man. It in no way glorifies war. Recommended.
