Denmark is on the top of the heap right now when it comes to excellent crime/detective shows, but unfortunately most are not available in region "1" ( thank you bill clinton for signing our access away to movies and music so the big corporations can "nick us good" for shows they don't have locked into copyrights )
That being said, The Bridge is such a great show and the caricatures so interesting that we had to try and make our own ( they did a descent job on the american franchise version). Saga is the coolest and does'nt have a lot of baggage to weigh her down ( yes, i know about the Aspergers - it makes her endearing) while she's gathering the facts and concentrating on catching the bad guys.
The show is paced just fast enough to keep you in the game but slow enough for you to second guess what's coming.
Excellent!

We like this series of shows about Swedish and Danish police detectives working together but there are problems with the plot and just how much the killer can physically do or places they can be.
While not the best detective show on TV, the flawed characters do give the show a special appeal that is not corny like they make Hollywood’s flawed folks.
Worth a look but be sure to rewatch it as you are bound to miss some of the interaction or just action while dealing with the subtitles.
Recommended.
