Jinx and the Savage Twins and Ella
Angus and Brick Savage and their cousin, Ella were on a special mission to Wyoming. Dana had asked them to go help a friend's daughter on her ranch. Her Father had died not long before and Jinx, as she was called, had to get her herd up in the mountains to summer pasture. JoAn "Jinx" McCallahan was in a pending divorice and her ex would not give it to her until she agreed to sell the ranch and give him half. Jinx's father tried to make her promise to sell the ranch after he died. She loved it and would not promise him anything. Dana had found out about her dilemma of not being able to find wranglers to work the ranch . She asked her twin sons and niece to help Jinx out for a few days. They agreed and Jinx was happy to have them. Jinx was sure J.D. , her ex, was discouraging wranglers from signing on to help her. The night before the herd was to be moved, JD showed up at the ranch drunk, and demanding to get his half of the ranch. Angus was at the bunk house and heard JD making his demands to Jinx and threatening her. He made an appearance and between Jinx and Angus, , JD decided to leave the ranch. JD was making time with Patty, a local girl, but he was not satisfied and wanted Jinx back. Jinx knew she had made a serious mistake in marrying JD but it was too late.
