Inspiring gift
This series of animated versions of Shakespeare's plays is an excellent introduction to his work for primary school children and the first years of high school. I bought it as a gift for a family with 3 daughters (Y4, Y6 and Y8) and have subsequently discovered that the two younger girls are studying Shakespeare, when they return to school on 8 March. It has turned out to be an inspired (and I hope inspiring) gift!

INTRODUCTION TO SHAKESPEARE
THE TALES ARE EXCELLENT IN GIVING THE OUTLINE PLOT OF THE PLAYS AND AN INTRODUCTION TO CHARACTERS BEFORE THE PLAYS ARE STUDIED.
