Excellent acting, good plot, entertaining... super movie.
Al did it once again. His acting ability, and 'bigger than life' personna is just terrific. What an actor ! Loved the movie, the dancing, the plot, and it was very entertaining. Gotta buy this classic.

Al Pacino Delivers in this Vets Story
A dear friend suggested I watch this film at least 10 years ago. This past year in March I lost them to pancreatic cancer. I have been thinking about this film and finally got a copy! Al Pacino does an incredible job portraying a blind vet who's rough and gruff with everyone he speaks to. He has no reservation speaking out his mind. At times rude crude and lewd. Other times hilariously funny and poetic. The student who spends Thanksgiving with him is learning the realities of life through him. It's a delightful story of innocence and bawdiness with valuable lessons. It's a story with the finesse and superlative acting of both of these characters with clever plots and twists peppered with a undeniable humor. I plan on watching again... my friend was right. It's a good one.

A fun watch and great acting. The central theme is strange as a test of character
Great acting and pacing. a fun watch. Ultimate lesson is a bit tenuous, claiming the ultimate test of a young man's character is if he keeps the identity of malicious classmates hidden, is hard to swallow.

Best Al Paccino movie ever
This is a Classic . Excellent Drama !!! Actor are first level . There is nothing negative from my point of view in this movie . specially I love the music because I was born in a "Tango City " ( Buenos Aires - Argentina)

Excellant Movie
I have always loved this movie and can watch it over and over again. Al Pacino was fantastic!! Would definately recommend this movie to everyone!

One of the Classics
A totally captivating performance the was worthy of his Academy Award. Pacino, one of the legends. A good quality product at a great price.

Entertaining
Al Pacino plays his part excellently. Maybe he wants the respect from Chris O'Donnell's character. Their adventures in New York City were funny and entertaining.
