Printer
Printer worked great when I first got it, but lately I have had a few issue with it. It keep giving me an error message, and sound like something wrong with the roller when it does that. So far I have been able to fix it. I have to take the cartridge out and roll the roller, and then it goes back to the way it suppose to print. When I get the Error message, I am not able to print. I do like the printer because it is the kind I used at work before I retired, so I am use to this printer.

Small Home office Perfect Printer
This is my new favorite black and white printer. It starts printing in under 7 seconds and quickly kicks out the pages . The print quality is excellent and it has duplex. And for under $100 with a small footprint, it should be your favorite too

Semi-retired workhorse.
It's working well. I think these printers were designed for heavy duty work, or at least moderate. It does light duty easily. We now have 3 of these in our workplace. Generic toner cartridges are available on ebay for about $15, which should work out to less than half a penny per page.

Reliable and Fast Laser Printer
The printer is fast and the print quality is very good. Upgrading the memory was easy and inexpensive as well. It is a workgroup/business class printer that was too expensive for home use when new, but at this price, it is far better than the affordable personal-use laser printers on the market today. Since these were business class printers when new, it is likely that many have seen extensive use over the years. They stand up to this use well, but finding a fully refurbished unit or one with a lower page count is advised. The footprint is not small enough to sit on many desktops, but given the fact that it is a workgroup class printer, it isn't overly large. I have the 2055DN, which has a built-in ethernet port, so setting it up on my network took a little extra work as Windows 10 did not automatically find drivers for it, but after downloading software from HP support, I was able to get it running on my network without much difficulty. One note is that it is not a quiet printer. It does have a quiet mode, which is quieter, but not quiet enough to justify running at 1/2 speed which is what it does when in quiet mode.

Still a great option in 2020.
A cheap, fast, reliable workhorse. Plug and play on Windows 10 (via USB at least, network setup seems more complicated). Good generic toner is cheap for this printer, making the average cost per print less than half a cent per page. It also prints fast and I've met lawyers with home offices swear these things run for years. I'm inclined to believe it. My law school library had a bunch of similar HP laserjets and they took a lot of abuse and kept on running. If you can find a well-preserved 2055 or 2035 with a lower page count, I'd seriously consider it. The only real drawback of this over a newer printer is lack of built in wireless. But a lot of the newer laser printers with wifi have more expensive toner (often with DRM built into the cartridges and other inkjet-style nonsense). Personally, I think plugging in a cable is well worth the cost savings and not being beholden to the manufacturer.

HP 2055
excellent purchase..so much faster than the ink jet printer. Smaller footprint than my old ink jet printer. No longer have to fool with the messy and expensive ink jet cartridges. Should have purchased this printer long ago. Only drawback is that I will have to add a scanner to the printer to be able to add the copy function. I am very satisfied with this purchase and would highly recommend. I could not be any happier.

2055d printer
Speaking from a cartridge remanufacturer of toner cartridges, this is a greaat dependable printer that will go for 120,000 pages and more. They just keep on working. The toner is more than reasonable. You will like using this printer for the speed and convenience.

Hard to beat the printer for the money
We had one before that started fouling the toner after several years of abuse. We had some driver issues setting this one up, but we easily found the solution online. The print quality is excellent. I am sure there are newer more modern and faster printers out there, this one suits our salvage business just fine.

HP 2055 LaserJet Printer Review.
Good product for home use with HP Win 10 computer. Toner cartridges available at a reasonable price. I am happy with my purchase. .Good laser printer for under #100. Printer drivers available for Win 11. Unit was clean (inside and externally). No strange noises.
