Journey of Souls by Michael Newton
It's an interesting read, I will give it that. But I am far from convinced that it is actually true. As per Dr. Ian Stevenson, hypnosis has produced very little information that can be independently verified. One potentially verifiable detail is previous personality Ross Feldon, a prosecuting attorney in Oklahoma during the 1800's. An internet search on "Ross Feldon" will reveal that multiple attempts to find historical records of this person have failed. Furthermore, it seems a little too close to what Dr. Newton's target audience would expect and want to hear. Comfortable, relatively affluent, presumably White Americans living comfortable, relatively affluent future lives simply because that's what they would choose to do. Do you honestly think anyone would volunteer to be born into grinding poverty? Title tells you exactly what is in the book
The book is more of an academic endeavor than a compelling read. I enjoyed the content. It reinforced my twenty year study into the topic. Book was in good shape. Authentic and believable
The subject interviews feel very authentic and believable and the content holds your interest. I have read many Reincarnation books and as much as this topic fascinates me I usually get bored with repetitive accounts and mundane details after a while. I found that to not be the case here. The author is obviously extremely knowledgeable and good at what he does. A good read, highly recommend.

Very enlightening and informative
If you want to know the cycles of our soul then this is the book for you. Between this book and the second book, Destiny of Souls, you will find out where Souls come from where they are before they're born into a physical existence, where they go upon leaving a physical existence and most important where they are in between physical lives. So interesting to hear about our soul families, our soulmates, how we choose our life and our lessons, and the review we go through once completing a life. This book helped me tremendously. I started reading it a week before my husband died very unexpectedly. I don't know where I would be right now if I had not have been reading that book and already had been getting an idea about our soul progress through lives. I already had some information from other learning and experiences, but this was an integral part of me understanding what happened to my husband and where he is now. Multiple Life's, what an incredible adventure.
This book of information is quite compelling, informational, plus it has brought about so many more questions about mutiple life's. I wish I could just pick up a phone and ask Dr. Newton several questions. I am only half way through the book at this point, so maybe many of my questions will get answered. Missed the mark for me
I think the author spent too much time on the souls learning. There were so many other things that I wanted to learn & know about. So for me, it was a bit of a let down. This book focuses on case studies of life after life (or life in between life). One of the most stressful events we can experience is the death of a loved one.
