THE FIRST SIP OF SUMMER
The prequel to "Last of the summer wine" is a joy. It follows the early years of most of the main characters such as compo, clegg, foggy, etc. Not a big hit so only managed a couple of series, such a shame because it would have been nice to see other characters come in such as blamire and sid from the cafe. Beautifully made with a real feel for the period it is set in.
