Excellent
I have all Val McDermid's Kate Brannigan and Lindsay Gordon books on very elderly and much heard cassettes. Unfortunately the player is now eating them as they are so worn and I don't want to waste money on iffy second hand -0 so the answer is, buy the book! Even though it's now quite a long time since they were written I find them very enjoyable and would recommend them to anyone who likes well-written detective novels.
