With a 60â? cable, placement of the GPS receiver anywhere within the vehicle will usually get sufficient GPS signal reception. · The BU-353 is no need for batteries or any other external power source, since power and data are transferred through the same USB cable from the BU-353. · Globalsat USB GPS receivers allow for real-time street navigation by using your laptop for graphical plotting and positioning of your route. A Low Cost and effective USB-2 GPS Receiver with easy installation.
At Just under $30 including shipping, you really can't beat the price. Also, having used the last release of this product for some time on my pleasure boat, I can attest to the fact that the receiver never fails to find and bring in the GPS satellite signals. I installed the provided driver and small user application (Via a small CD-R) on a laptop running Windows-10. Installation of drive and app took just a few minutes, and best of all no futzing about: The product simply came up and immediately worked on my box. I next brought up my installation of Open Captain that I use for onboard navigation: No issues, GPS simply communicates with Open Captain. Easy to use & great price

cool usb gadget can't get to work.
unable to get it to work on windows 10 tried goiing to website to download drivers and it says unknown device when plugged in and then with drivers says its a com3 reciever but i tried using gps nav software and didn't work.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Won't work with windows 10.
