Yes it's a classic!
One of the best sci-fi comedies of all time. Right there with Ghostbusters, IMO. The characters are wonderful. The cast is wonderful. The writing is wonderful. The performances are wonderful. And the story is legit. It not only functions as a massively sharp parody of Star Trek but it also has a genuine story line and plot which honestly would make it one of the best straight Star Trek films as well. Its just a gem from start to finish!

Always an entertaining watch...
I love this movie as to me it’s a Sci-Com classic. So getting it on BR was a no-brainer. Cheaper than buying the BR on Amazon Prime. Disc was new/sealed and played with no issues.
