AND I REALLY WANTED TO LIKE THIS,TOO...
LOVE the Avengers! But this volume focuses way too much time and energy on The Sentry. (Double Groan.) A new Avenger that I'm NOT a big fan of at all. WHAT I really wanted to see is the Avengers track down all of the OTHER 50 super villains that escaped the maximum security S.H.I.E.L.D. facility rather than what's here in this volume. Skip this. Sorry that I bought this.

New, but still Avengers
This is a great read and the restructuring of the Marvel universe keeps things fresh without taking away from the characters we know and love. Part of an excellent series. The Sentry, Marvel's version of Superman (yet suffering from what used to be called multiple personality disorder.) presents an interesting dichotomy: What if Superman, the most powerful being in the galaxy had an evil (sometimes) twin...in the same body. Get to know them all in the New Avengers.
