Worthwhile, but limited, attempt at a Biography
Arthur Lee, an apparently charismatic character, culturally influential on many for the last fifty five years or so, who was behind one of the, arguably, greatest albums of all time deserves a good biography and Mr Hoskyns gives it a good stab but one cannot feel that there is a lot more about Mr Lee that could be brought out into the light (or, at least, the printed page). It is deserving of a read, not least because there are not many such (if any) books about him out there (I can't find another). I would recommend it to any Love fan but it might leave you with more questions than answers about Mr Lee.
