Great Classic Movie
With a few historical inaccuracies, it is STILL a great telling of the story of one of England's history-makers and Catholicism's martyrs. Not a perfect History
The King is a bad person. He loses his cool when his friend get religion. But later is filled with remorse. Not 100% historically accurate, but as good as it gets. Be sure and watch "A Lion in Winter" next.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Fantastic acting brings a fascinating real friendship alive
O'Toole and Burton were both nominated for Best Actor Oscars for their roles in this period piece based on a very real and very complicated friendship between a king and his counsel, and deservedly so.
