Wonderful powdercoater.
This item is of good quality I have bought two and they both do professional coating jobs one does not seal all the way around the powder canister. So I did have to seal it my self with a sealing ring; however, it still does just what it was meant to do with out fail I run a machining and powder coating shop I have more expensive coating guns but this little system does the same job at a lot lower price.

Great product but no manual
This is a great product for small powder coating jobs. It came recommended to me and I'm not disappointed. The only issue is that it did not come with an instruction manual and I wasn't able to find one online anywhere. When I contacted the vendor they stated that they don't have manuals for the guns. Weird? I was able to watch a YouTube video online to figure it out, however.

Modify to make it easier to use.
These guns work fine. I drill a hole in the top side of the reservoir and use a small funnel to fill. And put a small cap plug in the hole. The lock for the reservoir always breaks and the powder packing in the slides makes sliding the reservoir almost impossible. Clean the top from time to time as you apply powder.

Seriously Not Fit for Purpose + now potentially dangerous. Pity, because idea was tempting.
Today's condition of the plastic used in this product is cause for concern: it crumbles at the slightest knock and is therefore not fit for purpose, at any price. I would not want any of my family to hold it or try to use it in practice. Inside is a rotating fan. Crumbling plastic from any part of the black body - especially internally - can hit the fan and the body itself could disintegrate during use. The handles are now often breaking completely. Who knows if the plastic ever was acceptable, but original cracks in the handles were cause enough for SEARS to stop / not to sell them.

I recieved a broken item
I recieved a very well packaged powdercoater even the handle was wrapped like 90p times with saran wrap. I unwrapped it and seen a crack which once fully unwrapped allowed the bottom of the unit to just completely fall off from being broke all the way around right under the trigger where it was wrapped 90p times. Very angry and unsatisfied. Paid extra then other sales for this item and recieved it broken really The saler has no replies and this rating will stay untill or is corrected

Very pleased with machine
This gun is complete, only need to provide powder and I got one Kg of white powder and was able to coat a metal pulley with no effort. Used an old toaster oven to cure the paint and it holds very well. Reccomend!

Simple powder coater
Did a little modification for easy reloading. Drilled a small hole in side and made a plug. I funnel powder in it.

Powder coat canister &gun
I was looking for the discontinued canister cup They are $25 on Ebay and this gun was only a few dollars more. This unit has cracking in the handle area but does not seem too deep. I tightly taped the handle in electric tape as a precaution. Beats cleaning cups -just switch guns,

Poor quality
Very poor quality would strongly recommend not to buy. Can go to harbor freight buy one cheaper and magically much better quality. This broke the very first time I used it .

It works
Works great but is falling apart. The plastic is just cracking, I am not hard on it but it is now held together with duck tape.
