The design is on of the best out there, however the build is obviously ,cutting corners. The tightening knobs are lacking in size and durability. This does not hold a heavier kick drum mic from twisting down without undue force. I’m using this in-house for studio work so the size and flexibility were my concern. I would not want to take this out on the road primarily because of the cheap components and fear of failure. A buck or two more invested would have Gone a long way to make this one best on the the market. Still have not found a good design for nightly set-up and tear down.
Highly Recommended From a Public School Music Teacher
I love this thing. It's very unique in that it's solid has adapters, good heavy base and counterweight. I highly recommend it. Great for mic'ing cellos, holding up webcams (Yes, I did.), and for all sorts of mics.
