FIGHT CLUB is narrated by a lonely, unfulfilled young man (Edward Norton) who finds his only comfort in feigning terminal illness and attending disease support groups. Hopping from group to group, he encounters another pretender, or "tourist," the morose Marla Singer (Helena Bonham Carter), who immediately gets under his skin. However, while returning from a business trip, he meets a more intriguing character--the subversive Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt). They become fast friends, bonding over a mutual disgust for corporate consumer-culture hypocrisy. Eventually, the two start Fight Club, which convenes in a bar basement where angry men get to vent their frustrations in brutal, bare-knuckle bouts. Fight Club soon becomes the men's only real priority; when the club starts a cross-country expansion, things start getting really crazy. Like Tyler Durden himself, director David Fincher's FIGHT CLUB, based on the novel by Chuck Palahniuk, is startlingly aggressive and gleefully mischievous as it skewers the superficiality of American pop culture. Outstanding performances by Norton and Pitt are supported by a razor-sharp script and an arsenal of stunning visual effects that include computer animation and sleight-of-hand editing. The Fight Club 2-Disc Release Review
In Disc 1: The movie was so great because it was based on the book. And there was so much Carnage and vandalism that the Narrator and Tyler Durden caused during the night. Disc 2: All of these special features footages were cool and all those upcoming process were excellent, the behind the scenes footages were awesome, deleted and extended scenes were acceptable, different angles were great, trailers and TV spots were cool. And the packaging itself was acceptable, but these 2 disc holders were damaged but no 2 discs itselves damages occurred so it's good. I am Jacks dvd collection
An instant classic full of violence philosophy and sex. Very true to the book and full of memorable characters. The two disc dvd collectors edition is the best release thus far. The packaging is several layers of premium printed cardboard. With the motive of a bar of soap wrapped in paper. The two discs contain many interesting character studies and behind the scenes featurettes. Yes I do like the Fight Club DVD
Yes kids all I have to do is pop this disc into a drive and it plays it! No internet required. No streaming. No waiting for uploads or lag. I can watch this DVD completely isolated. Completely independent of the Internet. Offline as you would say. A DVD player is reliable. As opposed to the internet providers which are not reliable.
