Interesting and engrossing throughout!
In a field in Devon a body is discovered - it has been tied up and set on fire. It is a woman aged about 25. Another body was found there in the past in similar circumstances! Then another body is found in a holiday home. Are there any connections between these curious incidents? At the same time there are plans for new houses in that area and historical events that occurred there. Then the land developer is unexpectedly killed - in a fire incident. It becomes urgent for Thornhill to resolve this mystery before there are more murders. Then as usual progress is made. The murders are solved and the murderer is caught. There are red herrings and unusual twists and turns keeping the reader engrossed and surprised throughout! I have read all of these books except one and I am able to get the last one of the series.
