Karen was the instantly recognisable lead singer of the Carpenters. The top-selling American musical act of the 1970s, they delivered the love songs that defined a generation. But that's only part of Karen's story. As the world received news of her death at 32 years of age in 1983, she became the proverbial poster child for anorexia nervosa. Unfortunately the packaging didn't survive Royal Mails handling and this was the only book I received of five I had ordered. I contacted WeBuyBooks and they have been brilliant in trying to resolve the issue of the missing books. They are replacing one that they still have in stock though unfortunately are unable to do so for the other three so are issuing a refund for these.
