Great Buy Easy to Operate
FixD - Excellent product. Very straight forward to use. I've used it on 5 vehicles within the same month of receiving and it works seamlessly on all. Clears check engine light with the tap of a button. However, once engine light is cleared, scanner no longer detects the faulty code that triggered the check engine light in the first place. Clearing the check engine light does NOT solve the problem. It should be able to pull up faulty codes regardless if check engine light is on, cleared or never came on at all. I don't know if that's a design flaw or unavoidable once engine light is cleared. Apart from that, I find this product to be the most useful since everything is done through the app. Allows you to test battery voltage and keep track of other wear and tear items such as tires. Price is reasonable as well. There are cheaper scanners out there but for the little extra, this is one that will be worth it. Regular app update also adds to its value over time. Highly recommended.

Easy to setup
Was very easy to plug in and get connected. Seem to work as seen. However I did not see the screen as I saw in several videos that I watched on the product.The one where it showed all the vehicle symbols. I used on 2 vehicles. Would not clear the code, just kept giving me a warning about clearing the code. Overall a time and money saving product.

Awesome
Awesome diagnostic tool. Easy to use tells you whats wrong with your car or truck worked perfectly on my 2006 Chrysler Pacifica. You can even clear codes to make Engine light go off. I am a Mechanic by trade and would recommend this to any mechanic or do it yourselfer. I plan on buying more for all of my family's vehicles. I have already fixed a couple things on my car and cleared codes.

Overall satisfied!
I wish I had purchased this device sooner. Before I bought and installed a new catalytic converter and both the upstream and down stream o2 sensors. It told me that my third ignition coil was faulty. Turns out I had a loose pigtail connector on the coil! I upgraded to the premium subscription to do a pre-emission test but it keep telling me that there's a connection error? I was able to successfully clear the code. I fixed the issue and ran the diagnostic test again as it detected no further errors. I will definitely keep my fixd device for future diagnosis! I would have given it a 5 star rating had the pre-emissions test worked. I'll try it again before I cancel my subscription!

Does not do what has been advertised
The device pairs easily with my Samsung Galaxy S7. It asked me to put the mileage of my wife's car (2007 Chrysler Pacifica). It accurately identified the car as such. The unit then gave me the code for the check engine light. It appears that the gas cap is not holding pressure so that air can come in causing the check engine light. I then attempted to turn off the check engine light three times via FIXD but it remained lit. I replaced the gas cap with a $10 brand new one but the engine light at this point is still on so I had to do a manual reset by removing the negative cable of the battery for about five minutes. Put the cable back on, tighten it and started the engine. Wallah, the annoying check engine light is officially off. I told my wife and she said, I'm amazing. I saved over $100+ repair cost to a mechanic for a simple step like this. They have to make money too but in an honest way, I don't mind paying but they have to be transparent.

Gets the job done
works well for the price , I used it to help a neighbor with their expedition, showed lean mix and had all the codes listed gave some tips started looking ,found air returns and vac lines bad on engine fix them ,used to reset the ecm light and have been check engine light free for about a month now , they say they can't remember last time they drove with out check engine light on.

Did not meet my expectations
Being that I am a bit advance beyond the capabilities of this item is why I rated 3 stars. Doesn’t have real time monitoring which if I had researched more I would have found out. I gave it to my daughter because it can help me to help her if she needs. She lives in Indiana and I live in Florida. It would have been nice to see things like air intake temp, coolant temp and other real time info. For most I think it is a step in the right direction

Great Device
This is a great device to tell you exactly what the problem is with your car. It also lets you know what every maintenance light means so you know what the issue and how much it should cost. I suggest anyone buy this gadget whether its for your car, a friends car or even buying a used car to find out if there might be any possible issues that may need fixing.

No fault detected
Unable to evaluate. I tried unplugging sensors to create a fault without success. I got my car (2001 Dodge Neon) from a small used car lot and I suspect the computer has been "modified" to not recognize faults so it would pass emissions so it will probably never get a check engine light either. I'll probably give it to a family member that have newer one owner cars that may not see a fault for 5 or 10 years. From that perspective it was a waste of money.

Love it !!!
I have 4 cars and each one of them has a Fixd. The oldest one, 05 Ford Ranger is the one that the obd allways tells me when something is out of range. I am driving and the obd sends a message to my cell stating that the system is reach, or missfire of cyl 5. And when something happens, I clear the engine light. It bothers me to see it on. Then I fix whatever is wrrong. I can actually arrange for speed and temperature live.
