Five friends faced with an uncertain future have the road trip of a lifetime in this heart-pounding and heartwarming adventure. Matt McKeague (Derek Hamilton), Corey Ng (Dante Basco), and Will (A.J. Determined to have one final adventure, the four friends set off on a memorable road trip along the West Coast. Dedicated to extreme sports, the young adventurers begin a challenging journey of self-discovery where they surf, bike, skate, and snowboard their way into adulthood. First stop: Baja, California, surfing capitol of the West, where they catch some waves and find a new teammate in fellow adventurer and mysterious "damsel in distress" Jessie Jacobs (Cassidy Rae). Beautiful and tough, Jessie is an avid sportswoman who immediately captures the heart of the group's natural born leader, Brian. Together the group of five travel up the Coast competing against top athletes, facing their weaknesses and strengths, while testing the bonds of friendship and romance. So much fun to watch again!!
I loved this movie when it was first made. It was a staple for youth group movie nights. Now, my kids have reached that age and I wanted to share it with them. It’s out of circulation now, so I was delighted to find this copy available. The DVD was in excellent condition and played perfectly. It was even funnier than I remembered.
