An entertaining SyFy: Big Pharmaceutical action for all
This 4-disk-set is Season 4 (final season) of the Torchwood syfy series. Overall the action is not so much science-fiction as it appears to be political-pharmaceutical-fiction. Interesting and visionary take on big pharma sales. The characters are fictional of course, The action drama has the usual two-plane levels::the main dramatic action in the foreground (this is ok) and the characters family life/drama/LGBT in the background (mostly boring and advertising like for relationships), all in childish gun-wearing frames.Overall, the script is heavy on bullet&muscle, low on the intellect, surprisingly entertaining (I usually skip the family & LGBT scenes without losing the thread). .I did purchase this disk set to complete the whole Torchwood series 1-2-3-4 and donate it for free to my local library. Engaging Contemporary Storyline
Very engaging story that is apropos to what is happening in the world today. Enjoyed following the characters and story line. Fascinating
