Disappointed
I tried this on 4 slides but found the light from the bulb was not good enough to see details, although the slide was quite bright. I was away when the viewer was delivered so didn't try it until 2 days ago. Had I been able to try it sooner I would have returned it but feel it is probably too late now. I'm now asking my face book friends if anyone has one I could borrow; I don't want to waste any more money as I have only got about 100 to go through.

Disappointment
I feel there are insufficient instructions with this product - it may well be efficient once working, but so far we have been unable to achieve that. The delivery was OK, and we had to get batteries obviously, also sent for specific bulbs to replace if necessary. However we are still unable to use the Diascop and are therefore really disappointed in the product..

Easy and fun to use
This is easy to use. Just put a battery in and away you go. I bought it to look through old family slides to sort out ones I wanted to have printed, but it was such fun viewing them in the slide viewer that I am going to leave the slides as they are.

Good little product
It’s small but functional. Able to view old slides of my fathers well enough so did what I ordered it for. Quick delivery, would recommend.

simple but not very useful
It is simple,. Requires two AA batteries- an idiot can use it. It is very small and its hard to see much on the slides. You might as well hold the slides up to the light

Not good enough
The screen is too small and not well lit. Can't see fine detail in my slides. Should have known better and bought a more expensive product.

Excellent basic viewer. Fulfilled expectations.
Bought for a friend who is so thrilled to be able to view family photo's from the 1960's/70's.

It is reasonable value for money
Its build quality is good for the money , The light could be a little bit brighter, it has a tendency to give colour slides an orange cast
