Impact-ready, for real
I was very skeptical that these would stand up to ANY impact driver - even my little 12V Milwaukee 2553-22 (which is strong for its size). But my first use was putting two 1/4-20 holes in a 1/4-inch plate on each of my Rotary lift's yokes. Without any cutting oil, the hole went fast, and was tapped almost before I realized the drill had gone through. I haven't used the smaller ones or the metrics yet, but I assume they'll perform about the same. I wouldn't use the smaller ones on such thick material, or in a bigger impact, but this little driver (on its middle setting) seems to be a perfect fit for these drill-taps.
