Dads army
Clever,funny, subtle, ,well written, great to view before bed time.you remember all the characters, brilliant. Kept well informed about when and where it was due. Well packaged. Just one of those things you buy that makes you smile.

Very entertaining with great humour
Great Dads Army DVD box set. It is still funny after all these years, and truly entertaining. All the character's are unique in there own way and the way they respond to others with there actions and dialogue is brilliant.

Happy Hubby!!
Bought this for my husband's birthday as he is an avid fan. He was a tad upset he couldn't watch the constant repeats anymore once sky had been switched off so I got him his own copies. He loves them! The quality of the programming on the dvds are good. Now he can watch them to his hearts content :)

Splendid series for fans of nostalgia.
Inevitably, this poignant series has a somewhat "dated" feel to it. I saw it when it first came out: the characters have an almost Music-Hall quality to them. Not deep, but nostalgic and thought-provoking.

British humour as it used to i.e. ENTERTAINING1
Lots of laughs and no bad language... Superb cast and with a hint of what once made Britain great - the never-give-up attitude. Even non Brits will appreciate these DVDs - needs a reasonable understanding of the language.

dads army dvd
when i saw this dvd box set of dads army i couldnt believe my eyes , its has always been a favourite of mine to watch on tv and now ive got the whole series on dvd , ive already watched the first series of dads army and it still makes me laugh very much , this dvd box set is great value and its one of my top programmes to watch on dvd when their is little else on normal tv to watch and its very entertaining and always makes me laugh very much so i rate this dvd 100 per cent to watch

Fantastic
It's great to watch Walmington-on-sea's home guard in action, from the very buttoned up captain mainwaring to 'Don't panic' Jones, you'll never stop laughing, highly recommend!!

Happy residents
I play the dvds in order for the residents in a residential home I work it . They are thrilled to watch one of the best series ever made . It is very nostalgic and a classic comedy. No need to worry about bad language either.

a present for my son , we are due to watch it over christmas , but i will rate a top star because ive seen the tv series before , and music magpie always provide top class goods .

great bargain
this dvd set for being used was in great condition and very entertaining as I like dads army I was going to purchase a brand new set but when I saw this one I decided to take a chance and it was well worth it thank you very much
