The third Star Trek series concerns Benjamin Sisko (Avery Brooks), commander of the starship Deep Space Nine, who discovers the first known stable wormhole--a virtual shortcut through space that leads from the Alpha Quadrant to the Gamma Quadrant on the other side of the galaxy. The Gamma Quadrant is governed by the Dominion, a group led by the Changelings--a race of shapeshifters which counts DS9 crew member Odo (Rene Auberjonois) among its numbers. The Dominion has become a violent force in the galaxy, and the Deep Space Nine and its crew has become the only hope in upholding the way of life established by the Federation. A Bright Future For Us?
If You are a SciFi Fan, this is for you, If you haven't seen this Series, You will not want to miss it. Hours and hours of good entertainment. good for the entire Family. From Jake Sisco to the newest Alien there seems to be a surprise almost every installment of this Adventure Series. Do Not miss this, it is a developing engaging Adventure, this is where the Dominion Tries to engage us, for me this was a nail biting part of this possible future. DS-9: Trials and Tribble-ations/turning point
I bought this chiefly for the "Trials and Tribble-ations" 1996 episode (30th anniversary show). The blending of the DS-9 cast with the classic Star Trek episode was seamless. The 5th season was also a turning point for the "Dominion War" story-line in the series.
