    Arrived in a solid reused cardboard box, box set wrapped up inside using bubble wrap. Good old boxed game set which appears complete. Described as being in very good condition and it broadly is, although the back of the map has been drawn on. Loose counters are presumably all present. Nice to see the dice too!     Shogun

    Educational as well as entertaining, it gives a deep insight into the lives of Japanese people all those years ago. Very descriptive, very cruel, Richard Chamberlain and Toshiro Mifune were magnificent in their roles as John Blackthorne and Toranaga, a would be Shogun, War Lord of all the Japans..A stunning watch !.

    Shogun … a basic review of ourchase

    It was in excellent condition . Delivery was very quick.I’ve only watched it twice . A very good bargain . Love the design of boxset. The film is good. can’t submit the review of the actual film as it’s too involved. Roughly Ships, swords. Treachery. Fights. Love story and clash of cultures and politics . Greed and lust, power struggles with stunning scenery, big horses .archery and a dash of differing cultural beliefs . quest to get home as well . The costumes are amazing. Acting was good . Possible to learn a few words so what’s not to like.

    A great period Japanese drama with and English involvement.

    For me, it is a series that i like to watch many times. To be able to own it, rather than relying on streaming media is a big plus.I also have the book. To be able to watch it on the tv is a bonus. Price ? Ridiculously cheap. Free postage. Pristine new condition. No damage or marks. Arrived on the stated date. I own quite a few Chinese/Japanese films and series and this will be a welcome addition to my collection.

    Feudal intrigues and more

    I thought Shogun was very engaging. It encapsulated the feudal way of the Samurai. Showed how western culture and religion could play their part. All the characters played great parts to make Shogun an extremely entertaining series.

    Fantastic buy from EBAY

    I watched this series in video form & enjoyed the whole package. Years later I heard some one mention Shogun & I thought what a great idea to get it in DVD.I am well pleased with my purchase ,it was packed very nice so it could slip through the letter box should no one be at home when it arrived. I will view the series at my leisure. EBAY are Ace !!
