Following the lead of Nintendo's earlier Mystery Dungeon games, Explorers of Time transports DS gamers to a land before humans where, instead of playing as a trainer, they take the first-hand role of a pocket monster. In the beginning of the game, players answer a series of questions to help them decide which Pokémon to play as. The role-playing adventure involves befriending other Pokémon and exploring randomly generated dungeons where enemies and treasure await.<br> <br>As is tradition for Pokémon handheld games, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time is released alongside a companion game, Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Darkness, which features the same basic story and gameplay with slightly different character choices and quests. Two DS Mystery Dungeon Explorers players can team up through a wireless connection, to trade, text chat. And complete rescue missions together.

An unexpected surprise
Never was the biggest fan of the Pokémon franchise and it’s long lineage of games but this series in particular are very different and very charming with a great story. Definitely recommend to any DS owner.

my childhood is back in my hands
although the story line is sometimes aimed at kids, i absolutely love the characters, graphics, and the heart put in this game. not to mention, i’ve cried 12 times already. just, absolutely stunning & the package arrived 2 days early.

Great deal for it!
The games came in quickly and the game plays like new! I'd happily buy more games if any interest me. I'm currently at the beginning still but the game is going very well gameplay-wise.

Got what I payed for.
Received Pokémon mystery dungeon: explorers of time like I wanted. Game cart came in a case and wasn't damaged at all. Game works good. Higley recommend.

game cartridge is finicky
the description said this product was working and that’s like half true. like 4 or 5 times out of 10 you put the cartridge in the Nintendo it will work and the other times the DS reads it as no cartridge present. there isn’t a problem with the DS since i’ve tested it with other games. :/

Great nostalgic fun
I never realized how much I missed these games, the stories are youthfully engaging just as I remember and the gameplay is simple and fun.
