Important features removed
I own a Canon PowerShot SX720 HS & while in movie mode, I take pictures. The '740' removed that feature. In order to take a picture, you have to turn the knob to a camera mode. Then to go back to making movies, you have to turn the knob back to movie mode. Big inconvenience. The other feature that got removed is the Live Mode. This features allows you to adjust the contrast & saturation of the picture. I use this when hiking and it's real shady.. Without that feature the pictures come out dull.Come on Canon. Great camera

Powerful compact camera takes great pictures

Flash does not fit camera
Camera is good for close up pictures, which is what I wanted it for. One issue is the so called "Flash". It does not fit on this model of camera. It requires a camera with a hot shoe. It is 3 power LED light instead of a flash.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Neu

Best small travel zoom.

I wanted a new Canon SX740 given the price and other reviews BUT ....
