Product Information

In BioShock, you take the role of an isolated crash survivor who discovers a city under the sea. This city, also known as Rapture, was once a utopia for scientists, artists, and industrialists. However, by the time your character takes his first steps into Rapture, the civilization has ceased to exist, and the place is nearly desolate. The signs of life your avatar finds are nothing like he's seen before. Creatures known as little sisters roam the streets of Rapture with enormous bodyguards called big daddies. Mutated humans drag their warped bodies around the city and attack you on sight. <br><br>The goal of the game is to find your way out of Rapture while uncovering the mysteries behind its existence. As you explore the open environment, you must defeat big daddies and little sisters to obtain a material known as Adam. The Adam can enhance your in-game attributes and unlock over 60 genetic skills that come in handy for all sorts of predicaments. The city of Rapture is almost completely interactive, and you may collect objects for later use. There are also six modifiable weapons to use including two types of guns.

Great game!
Once you get past the hurdles of installing the game and installing an emulator for your controller (unless you have a legit Xbox 360 controller), the game is very good. There are things that you have to get used to as far as how you pay or get things you need since they are unconventional. The story takes you through a journey as you discover who you really are and what you are really doing in rapture, an underwater city. It took me hours to get it to work but once it did it was well worth the effort

This is no longer a playable game as 2k has taken down their server and you can't authentic it. So it won't finish the install process

Do not buy this retail disk edition!
This version will no longer install due to the fact that an “autopatcher” is running during the installation process which tries to download updates from a 2K server that is no longer operational. The installation exits and removes all the files it copied leaving you with nothing. There are aome hacks out there but most take you to spamware/spyware sites, so be warned.
