The almost universally acclaimed (and by all accounts, supremely challenging) Asian action-adventure returns to Xbox in this enhanced edition. Along with the main campaign and play modes of the 2004 original, Ninja Gaiden Black offers new missions, new difficulty levels, and content from the game's two "Hurricane Pack" downloadable expansions. Players guide master ninja Ryu Hayabusa through a variety of Japanese settings, fighting enemies with such tools of the trade as katana, shuriken, and throwing knives, or calling upon the power of the ninja arts -- strong magic -- to vanquish foes. Ryu will also encounter a number of puzzles as he jumps, flips, and swings through complex levels. Familiar techniques from the 8-bit trilogy on the NES, such as the wall-spring jump, are featured in this 3D version as well.Product Identifiers

The hardest enemy..Your camera.
I love this game. It is hard, it is challenging most of all it was everything modern gaming was doing at that time. While it was great to see my favorite NES game upgraded to the Xbox. One major problem though, the camera is horrible. You will find yourself dying due to the cameras random rotations. Random changes in verticals and horizontal movements. The ultimate action adventure game
This game has it all. It's gameplay, soundtrack and graphics are amazing. The difficulty is fair and rewarding. Levels are perfectly paced and fun to navigate because of the amazing movement tech. Ninja Gaiden is the pinnacle of fun and challenge.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Holds up super well in 2023
Amazing character action game. Some old quality of life stuff that takes getting used to like no quick saves, using items and swapping weapons always requires you to open the inventory menu. Ninja Gaiden Vanilla plus Ninja Gaiden Black (included most of Hurricane Pack add-ons)
Nostalgia and love of all things ninja's and hack and slash games in general ASIDE ;; Ninja Gaiden, especially its superior "director's cut" version NG (Black) is a super solid game that I always come back to, always try to improve upon and always Always recommend to people who are hardcore gamer types that may not have played it for whatever reason, or just og Xbox enthusiasts looking for a couple of on the edge of your seat hours of (yes) frustration and possible control throwing episodes, but imo its all worth it for that eventual Ninja Swag as you maneuver harder levels of difficulty, and possibly even master ninja status.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht
