Just Because
Just because this mower spindle is not OEM, in my opinion it works for me. When I received the mower spindle I studied it closely to check out its quality. I was impressed with the workmanship and the parts used appeared near OEM specifications. A great value if you prefer not to spend lots of money for an OEM mower spindle. Thus far after installation I have cut my lawn without a hitch. It starts right up and my grass has an even cut. No regrets buying this aftermarket unit. Just remember that not all aftermarket products are manufactured with precision. There are good and bad aftermarket products in the market and it is up to you to do the research before you decide to buy. In my case I was happy with this purchase.

great product however could have been packaged better as one of the pulleys was bent in shipping(had read other reviews complaining about bent pulleys)thankfully i can use one of my old pulleys to complete repair.

I bought two of these spindles from this company. Not only was the price great but the product itself I feel like is better than the actual manufacturered part. It was easy to install and it also has a grease fitting, the previous spindles did not. Everything was also threaded and it comes with new screws. You cant go wrong with this company.

Wonderful!!!
Installed on Huskee Lt-4200 with slight modifications. Use the old pulley and add a washer for the blade. Perfect fit for the 42" deck and blade 6 point. Easy to replace the pulley using grip pliers and 1/2 inch impact. The height and depth are great having a smooth cut.

Just what was described and pictured and what I needed in one package
The housings fit just like the originals and look just as good... installed them on the deck and installed the old blades and went to mowing..... I don't have a bit of trouble.... the stars on the bottom of the spindle hold the blade so snug at first I was not sure if I was going to get the blade on all the way....I even double checked my self and I am really happy with these parts...

It works good, but....
I'll give it a 4 stars. The replacement bolts that came with the part are too soft. One of them broke while installing it, and it was only half way in. They are supposed to be tough bolts since they have to tap a new thread in the new spindle, yes the new spindle assembly doesn't come threaded, the bolts are supposed to tap themselves in using power tools, they even recommend it in the instructions. Needless is to say that I had a heck of a time extracting the broken bolt from the spindle. Once I had made the new threads I used the original old bolts that came with the Lawnmower. Otherwise works well in the lawnmower, it looks exactly like the original

They work, grease them well.
The spindles are correct for the Bronco (Troy Bilt fix me every time you use me). The units come with zirk fittings which seem to be smaller than standard. Lube it manually before installation. The blade nut is not included. It seems to be an upgrade from the stock dry spindle units. New blades, belt and spindles ran quiet and smooth. Now to replace the drive belts again PIA! I’m glad this was a gift as I would be totally disappointed with Troy Bilt over this inferior design.

Good unit, great price.
Seems to be a suitable replacement for the failed spindle. However, this one has a grease fitting - the original did not - and there were no instructions about pre-lubing or frequency.
