They are very big and would not only be good for golfing but any outdoor activity where you need some extra protection from the weather. The also feel very sturdy and well made with the rubber tips at the end and metal ring just above the handle. They are built to last for years. The vents are helpful in the wind as well and keep the umbrella from flipping over.

Great value! The care and quality taken in packing the statues are absolutely fantastic. The statues were 'double-boxed' and the packing using sheets of bubble wrap and styrofoam kept the statues from being bounced around. The statues arrived in excellent condition with nothing broken! Shipping was quick; tracking allowed me to be present when the box arrived.
