Prisoners of geography
As a geography graduate myself and having an interest in politics I was so interested to dip into this book which I purchased for my grandson. He is studying politics as an A level subject and particularly wanted it. I now intend to buy a copy for myself!! A must-read for everyone.
Anyone who has the slightest interest in what's happening on the world stage must read this book to gain an understanding of why we're in the predicament that we're in. Good book but...

A must read for scientists who wish they'd studied history and geography instead
Heard this guy interviewed by Adrian Childs on 5 live. Brilliant summary of world geography and history that explains the development of both from a perspective that I'd never really grasped the significance of.
