HP 61 combo pack is basic ink for desk jet printers
Hp sells you the printer with this basic ink, I have good results with it, I own a Desk jet 1513 scanner copier printer, works great, for what i need it for, the only problem is desk jet printers tend to use a lot of ink fast HP makes another type of the same ink called 61+ black toner and color ink for this type printer. What the difference you ask? Basic ink uses up fast with just a mere 123 sheets, 61+ gives you better quality photos and print features. You decide. NOTE by all means Don't refill kits for HP ink tanks it can Destroy your printer heads I Know I try the budget way before, and paid dearly for it by buying a new printer. HP INK Best Price
The ink cartridges are genuine HP brand new and work better than the originals that came with my printer. I do not print very much and buy just the standard ink cartridges. The original ink cartridges that came with my printer stopped working with 20% of the ink remaining. If you do not print much, why buy the XL cartridges just to have them stop working. I notice better looking colors and dark clear print with the new cartridges. I will be very happy if I get 190 pages out of these cartridges. I only got about 80 pages out of the original HP cartridges. I do not know if the cartridges that come with the printer have less ink, but I never got a low ink level warning before they stopped printing. HP 61 printer ink
I only use HP ink in my HP printer. I learned that the hard way. My printer table is made out of wood and still carries a big black stain where a knock off leaked and wrecked the printer. I just got tired of going to a retail store to buy the ink and find they are out of what I need. Also, their prices are higher if they have the product. Better than average.
Any ink toner will be as good as you want it to be. It all depends on your needs. Hp Ink 61 Black and 61 color combo pack are great . The ink is just prefect , I've had know problem with My Hp Inks. However it would be nice for HP to offer cartridges for the customer to be able to refill. Good replacement but poor value
