Season 8 is much better on blu ray
I highly recommend getting this blu ray version of 24 season 8 over the DVD, transfer looked very good for a tv show and the DTSHD track is so good it rivals a lot of sound mixes that are coming out now. You also don't have to switch discs as often when watching the entire season, this only has 4 discs compared to the 6-disc DVD set. It's unfortunate 24 seasons 1-6/Redemption don't have American blu ray releases with HD lossless sound, I really do think those seasons could benefit from blu ray and bring this classic show to its full potential. All special features are the same as the DVD.

Constant action with lots of cliffhangers. A little soap opera mixed in.
Great, binge watching series. You don't have to wait to see what happens next. BluRay was very nice. It teetered on political correctness but that can be overlooked.*****
