This is the quality item. I had used some aftermarket toner after the laser printer had gone out of warranty. But I've gone back to this for printing issues.

Prints extremely well

Works perfectly
I have never had a problem with the genuine Brother cartridges. The quality of the print and the life of the cartridges is consistent.

Brother Toner does not last as long as advertized.
This is my second replacement cartridge (so 3rd total) in just over a year. As a rough estimate based on the paper I've bought during that time, I believe I'm only getting about 750-800 printed pages per cartridge, not the 1200 Brother advertises.

Product arrived just as described, genuine toner but opened packing.
Product was just as described. Genuine Brother black ink toner in an opened box. The sealed packaging was opened as well but when installed in to the printer the toner level display showed it was almost if not completely full. Also no signs to tampering to refill.
