Great collection...
While most of the titles are obscure, the entertainment factor is there. It's great seeing movies that don't show up on TCM all the time and give you a glimpse of some of the stars doing what they do best. I am not going to review each movie, as I would be typing for hours. :-)For the price, this is an excellent collection.

These are quality recordings. ENJOY.
50 musicals? What's not to love. I've watched about 18 so far and loved them all. Great dancing, singing and acting. Video quality is great, and audio is just right. Best value in my extensive collection.

Curl up with a blanket and popcorn and enjoy yourself
I love old musicals. When I saw this I just had to have it. Not all are top notch but with 50 to choose from it will be fun.

Classical Musicals- 50 Movies
Movies are primarily from 30s & 40s & Black & White. If a person likes singing & dancing along with a story they are very good.

Disapointed
I guess I was under the imrpression that there would be more popular musicals, not all from the 30ths. Some of the DVD's did not even play, and the ones that did, were unclear. This purchase was not as expected, which was probalby my fault for ordering same
