A Classic, properly presented.....
Knowing that Watterson will no longer create, the set being complete on Calvin and Hobbes, I felt this was a wonderful time to invest in a quality presentation of this set and have it available for my enjoyment ... whenever!! It has been my favorite comic strip, having enjoyed it throughout its entire run. So, when I saw that it was bound in art book quality paper, and hard back binding, I made the purchase. I have enjoyed it so far and delighted in the historical notes at the beginning and the sequential presentation of all the strips as they ran in syndicate. The price on ebay made it half the listing price, I see, when this set came out originally. So, it made for some economy in getting me this desired treasure. A must have....

One of the best cartoon collections ever published!
Beautiful in every way, these HEAVY books (hardbound and slipcased) are top quality and showcase one of the best cartoon collections ever published. If you’re a Calvin and Hobbes fan, don’t hesitate ... buy it! You’ll treasure this collection.

A gem from the book world
This is an exquisite product, both in humor and art, beautifully bound. A perfect present for those who love C and H, and also love and collect graphic novels. I keep it by my bedside and read it before sleeping. It never gets old. Beautiful thick paper, beautiful color.

A wonderful escape!
Wit, wisdom, humor and insight from the mind of a six year old. A wonderful walk down memory lane, and something I will revisit over and over again.

Perfect coffee table book.
It's all there, the entirety of that wonderful fantasy childhood saga. The books are *HUGE* so some planning is going to be needed to accommodate it. The best place is a coffee table if you have one. The hard cover books look very nice and will compliment any classy styled room so you can leave it out so you and visitors to casually browse through. I just love it.

The Complete Calvin & Hobbes set
I purchased this for my husband for Valentine's Day and he LOVED IT!!!! He said it was the BEST gift ever! He loves reading about Calvin and Hobbes even though he already had all of the paperback books. This is much better! Now he is reading the series all over again! Thanks! :)

Alot of smiles and laughs
I am so happy I purchased this set of Calvin and Hobbes. It's very entertaining and has brought many laughs and smiles. I finished reading these in record time and passed them on to my son to read. It's a very nice looking set that I'll keep forever.

Great set!
Huge three volume set. Each volume is almost 500 pages, on quality paper. The color pages pop! I have been greatly enjoying reading this set. My wife wanted to know what I was laughing about so much. Great read.

It's a comic.
Upon receiving the package the case holding the three books was beat up. I bought it for my own enjoyment so that is not that big of a deal, although it will look rough on my shelf. The books appear to be in great shape.
