Dated but Still entertaining.
Not hard to believe this series is close to five decades old... Whilst I have no wish to remind myself of how ancient I am in having watched it on tv first time around so still laughed through it... Despite the many and inevitable dated references I nonetheless found it entertaining!

just watched the first two episodes on a 75 inch tv screen and the picture quality is brilliant.well pleased with my purchase and would recommend to any one, quality compact box set if you like the program you won't be disappointed .

Fantastic
Absolutely wonderful programme came across this when on holiday in Skegness classic Sid James humour harking back to carry on days it’s true what they say comedy genius like this isn’t made any more and one of things I love about it been child of 80,s gives glimpse into family life before my time

Bless This House is very good and funny
I used to watch this when I was a lot younger and I'm glad it's come out the complete set me and my wife are having a good laugh as we are watching it it said James is the best comedy actor ever that's why I've given you 5 stars

A pleasant comedy
A lighthearted & pleasant although somewhat dated tv series. Sid James is, as always, excellent & he is well supported by Diana Coupland & the other members of the cast. The storylines are somewhat shallow but nevertheless mildly entertaining. The whole series is fairly typical of the type of tv comedy we all enjoyed back in the 60’s/70’s era.

Simple comedy of it's time
I enjoy 1970's sit coms, not everyone does, but those who appreciate Sid James will enjoy this set. I was impressed with the quality of the product , the price was fair and the product arrived quickly. Great buy for me.
