does the job
Only had a few weeks and its my first watch outside of a mechanical self wind so take with a grain of salt. It is accurate as long as you don't wear it for temps but that is expected, takes about 20 minutes for it to read correctly. If you have smaller wrist like me you will be changing the band. The altimeter is dead on and does the 1 meter like advertised. Barometric feature only works if your outside so if you are in your truck for an hour then climb out and head to your stand it is going to obviously rise so don't rely on it to warn you of bad weather with a drop in numbers unless you are out first lite and been outside for a while. I gave only 4 stars because of the design. The buttons keep hitting stuff and even changed once to "RIO" and all my info was wrong. Simplicity and Function
This is a great watch that is easy to use and accurate enough for most uses. The watch is free from unnecessary information or features that are trendy but rarely or never really used; simple to calibrate and the auto-light feature works amazingly well. Great watch, excellent features for hiker/backpacker
Great watch for the hiker and backpacker. The basics are the same as any decent Casio watch, but the ABC additions make it the right tool for me. Altitude, Barometer, and Compass features all work well for me. Tested it out on a 2-week camping trip in the Mighty Five National parks in Utah. Helpful info, easy to access. And you can’t beat the price. Also have not had any issues with water. I wear it swimming, in the shower, etc., and zero problems. Some of the features
I live in Puerto Rico so I have to use UTC time setting. I adjusted Latitude and Longitude settings accordingly. Still working on sunrise/sunset feature. Maybe by using UTC time setting I may not be able to use this function. Also World time function, I selected NYC, having troubles setting correct time.
