Gamers find themselves in the Sprixie Kingdom, where they must rescue Sprixie and her fairylike friends from the clutches of Bowser as they guide Nintendo's iconic plumber through a classic mix of 3D exploration and side-scrolling action in Super Mario 3D World. Up to four players can join the action at any time, helping one another find stars, or competing to collect the most coins in a given stage. Gamers can use new power-ups to help them through the adventure, including Super Bells that turn them into a wall-climbing cat, or the Double Cherry that creates character clones.<br><br>Super Mario 3D World makes full use of the GamePad, letting players tap the touch screen to freeze enemies, open door, or find invisible objects, or tilt the controller to change the vantage point and reveal hidden areas, and the game supports off-TV play. Some levels contain special stamps for gamers to collect and display in the Miiverse, and two separate game modes include the green-star collecting of Mystery House and the puzzle-like Adventures of Captain Toad.Product Identifiers

Teamwork makes the dream work.
Super Mario 3D World is much like a return to classic style Mario games with structured level gameplay and a simple story. While the gameplay is very simple and the level design is minimalistic, that does not mean the gameplay is boring. The levels are engaging, and there are secrets everywhere. While the game can be played in Single Player, it is very heavily oriented towards a co-op, multiplayer experience involving lots of teamwork. And while this is a nice feature, it is also one of its greatest flaws. At times, it can be hard to keep track of who you are on the screen, and can be a little annoying if you don't have a group who can stick together and accomplish goals as a team and won't get too competitive or greedy. So in short, this is a great game for families and friends who want to have a team building experience, this is a fantastic game. It's Mario at his best!!
This has quickly become one of my absolute favorite Mario games!! The game play is so much fun. There is so much to explore on each level that you'll find yourself running out of time. I have found myself replaying many of the levels, which is not something I normally enjoy. As typical Mario, the levels become more challenging as you advance, but not frustratingly so. It's a perfect combo of old and new Mario alike. The new cat suit adds so much extra to this game. In my opinion, this is a Mario game that multiple age groups will enjoy. Fun Game, But Can Be Frustrating
This is a really enjoyable game to play with friends, and I love the different character options to utilize different abilities. The only downside is if you play alone and die, you have to start from the last checkpoint, and if you play with friends, dying makes you lose a life, but you get bubbled back to your friends (the downside here is that the more players, the more chances to mess up for the team and miss level stars. Still playing through it with two others, and I love it, but I also hate how infuriating it can be at times haha. I really want to dock a star or two because of how angry this game makes me at times, but it's not the game's fault that I am horrible at 3D platformers!Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

replacement for son..
My son loves this game but unfortunately he accidentally broke the one we had for the Wii U. As the Wii U is no longer an actively selling gaming system I was worried that it would be hard to replace but I was able to find it pretty quickly and get it for very cheap at least a lot cheaper than I initially paid for it.... Cellar put it in the mail straight away and we got it within 3 days of ordering it so Kudos on shipping speed as well! Nintendo has done it again!
It is such a fun game to play with the family. It is very bright, colorful and vibrant! With 4 players it is very cool. However, sometimes it is hard to tell depth and positioning on the maps due to camera angle and some lighting and shadows.Bestätigter Kauf: JaArtikelzustand: Gebraucht

Fun game
I know what you might be thinking: "It's just another Mario game." And you would be correct. But it's another great Mario game. The 3D aspect adds enough of a twist that it feels fun and fresh while still staying true to its roots. This game challenges your brain in new ways with interesting new puzzles. Different than other Mario's
IDK if it lives up to the hype but it feels fresh compared to the slew of multiplayer side scrollers out there. I don't like fixed camera 3D games but this is better than most. Entertaining and challenging
Excellent game play with a short learning curve, so great for adults like myself. The controls are mostly classic and was able to play with my wife no trouble at all, however the analog directional on the GamePad is much than using the 4-way on a Wii remote. This is the first time I've played a 3D game Mario style, and really enjoy it. Once you get to the 3rd world or so the difficulty level increases.
