Useful and versatile material that can create any number of useful items.
The plastic canvas is of good quality and reasonably priced. I use it to teach school age children to stitch plastic canvas. They make pen/pencil cases, portfolios, composition tablet covers and other useful items. Plastic canvas is easy to use and can be cut into different shapes. Children create their own products using plastic canvas.

Using as tank dividers and planter hole covers
I have always cut rounded pieces to cover the drainage hole in the bottoms of planters. Now I am sewing algae and moss as functional decoration in my fish tanks - the size is actually perfect for straddling the width of a standard rectangular tank for use as a divider (attached with silicone or suction cups to the sides).
