Fantastic release, great value, not disappointed
This single caliper release opens and closes by pushing or pulling the trigger, the single caliper opens with the slightest amount of pressure when the trigger is squeezed. The heavy durable nylon rope that is affixed to the head of the release and to the wrist strap can be held onto after the release, or it can simply be let go after the release and it just falls away / drops down which is my preference. The nylon rope design is practically flawless when it comes to torque on the bow string that can happen with a rigid design release. The nylon rope is adjustable for countless lengths to make it personal for the individual. The leather buckle wrist strap is made of a heavy thick leather with 7 holes for adjustment with the buckle. The wrist strap is very comfortable with no pinch on the wrist when drawing back. All in all this Scott Quick-Shot release is a fantastic release and a great value. Give it a shot!

Scott archery are second to none!
Scott releases are hands down in my opinion the best release made. Been using them for over 20 years and using the mini goose for the past 15. Would never use a different brand! Got the quick shot buckle for my girlfriend, it's her first try at archery.

Nice release
I use carter back tension relaeases since 1999 when I started shooting. This is the next best thing, it works great for hunting...very good release

It’s not just a backup release
I actually bought this as a backup to keep in my pack in case I forget my other expensive Scott release. But after using it, this release has now become my primary release. Very nice crisp trigger and smooth release! I like how the rope connection allows it to stay out of the way while using your binoculars, rangefinder and other items while hunting.

Scott quick shot
Already own one just wanted a back up. You can totally adjust the draw length that is perfect for you. Love mine.

Great release
I love this release . Easy to adjust , and with the light trigger it helps tighten up my groups a bit .

Great release
I bought this about the same time as the wildcat 2 by scott and while this cost about half what that one did I enjoy shooting this just as much if not more. Great release!!
