    My favorite Cure album

    The case was a bit worn out, but it’s about 35 years old as of this writing, so that’s to be expected (I replaced it with a newer CD case anyway). The CD itself looks almost new and still plays perfectly. It’s my favorite Cure album that helped me get thru a different time in my life back in the day, and it’s one of those albums that I just play all the way thru without skipping any tracks. I never get tired of it. I just love it.

    Excellent Record

    This is a phenomenal album. Some of The Cure's work, I feel, has a bare bones, almost incomplete and disjointed feel, and at times the mixes are not the best (just an opinion), but Disintegration is a standout album and every song holds up extraordinarily well. It is their masterpiece and a showcase for sure. If you buy only one album by The Cure, make it this one.

    Disintegration CD by The Cure

    One of my favorite bands from my younger days. This CD is one of their best in my opinion. Dark at times but really good lyrics and music and as always Robert Smith sings like few can, if you've never heard it do so if you like Alternative music. Many have labeled this Goth. I was a Goth, this isn't much of Goth, it is melancholy at times but not true Goth, like other bands. For example Bauhaus. The Cure has done all kinds of songs from sad, to happy dance to adolescent angst. One of my top 100 favorite releases.

    The Cure

    An oldie, but new to me. I purchased four of their cds and will add more to my collection. Robert Smith's vocals are full of emotion ranging from dark and deep to fun and light. A true artist and I now understand why they continue to sell out their concerts. Highly recommend listening.

    Skeptical at first

    I was skeptical when it was listed as “acceptable.” Disc showed no scratches or wear and tear. Bottom line: it sounds as good as new. If there any other finds from this Goodwill I will buy again.
