Good case - without pencil
I've used Targus cases for my last 2 generations of iPads. The quality is among the best I've found. The only challenge with the latest generation is you have to remove the iPad from the case in order to charge the pencil. That's a hassle.

If you dont mind a cover that doesnt automatically turn your ipad on and off upon opening or closing, then it's ok. Very durable and comfortable.
