Oxford Dictionary of English
I think it is an excellent dictionary because it straddles the boundary, the former boundary between a dictionary and an encyclopedia. It includes many geographical locations, historical persons, greek mythology etc etc. You might say 'it's all on Google' but google does not lay out words alphabetically and often blurs things with their advertising objectives rather than imparting information.
